A changing world

Storm Seeds

Storm Seeds develops new vegetable varieties and is the largest vegetable seed company in Belgium. They use the test fields at Agropolis.

Bunch

Kevin Kurylak changed the star restaurants for his parents’ kitchen table and garage one year ago. There, he started BUNCH: organic raw bars that are of a higher level in terms of taste and shape than the current protein bar market.

Precision agriculture

Here at Agropolis, we also work hard at our very own project: precision agriculture, a project sponsored by the Flemish Land Agency (VLM) and the Province of Limburg. Curious to find out what exactly this project entails? Find out here!

IPM Impact

Yacon is a brand-new, relatively unknown agricultural crop. Turning it into a household name is only possible by giving this product a whole new identity.

The horticulture sector is going through challenging times as a result of rising costs and increasing global competition. In response, both Flanders and the Netherlands have launched policy initiatives to support horticulture and realise the necessary transition and associated modernisation.
