With a total of 22 ha available for plots, we’ve got an abundance of space for you to locate your organisation at Agropolis. We plan every plot exactly to your needs, tailored to you and your future vision. If you’re already thinking ahead to an expansion or if you’d like a working field directly adjacent to your plot, that’s possible too!
We operate based on long-term leases for 30, 50 or 80 years. The main advantage of this is that there’s no need for you to invest in a building plot as a business, while you still get to enjoy a range of tax breaks. It’s a win-win situation!
The necessary utilities are available across the entire site, including a CIRO water grid and a district heating system.

CIRO water grid
Agropolis is located by the side of a quarry lake, meaning we can use a CIRO water grid. Via a central pumping station, the grid distributes water underneath the fields, irrigating all surrounding farmland in a simple but elegant way! The same cheap source of high-quality water is also used in the workshops and businesses across the entire site.
District heating
Aside from our own water grid, we’ve also got our own district heating system! This environmentally friendly energy concept enables us to use residual heat to heat water in a central location. The residual heat in question is generated by an incinerator or power plant, for example. Our well-insulated underground pipelines bring this water right to your business’ doorstep, where it can be used for central heating and hot water. By doing so, energy that would be wasted elsewhere is reused in a sustainable way! We made a deliberate choice to commit to this system, as sustainable energy is the future.
