Kevin Kurylak exchanged the star restaurants for his parents’ kitchen table and garage one year ago. There, he started BUNCH: organic raw bars that surpass the current protein bar market in terms of taste and appearance.
Kevin: “I am a chef by training, and until last year, I had always worked in gastronomic kitchens, including as the head of patisserie at Sergio Herman’s. But I have always known that I wanted to run my own business someday. I already had many ideas, but it was during my travels that BUNCH took shape.”
During that time, nutritional bars like protein bars were gaining popularity. While their taste was often better than expected, little attention was paid to their appearance. I began experimenting, and BUNCH evolved into what it represents today: organic, vegan, and gluten-free healthy snacks.”
“The location and the space available at Agropolis were the main reasons for me to settle here. Additionally, the community is very welcoming. That’s how I connected with LSU partners through the Expert Table, who provided me with insightful feedback to further develop my business. I also utilized Innovatrix, a tool that helps in solidifying and pursuing goals. And, of course, I have the support of the team and the environment itself. I am surrounded by like-minded individuals in a cozy setting. Currently, I work by myself – with the assistance of my girlfriend – but it’s more enjoyable here at Agropolis than on my home island.”
“BUNCH is a line of raw bars that not only taste good but also have an appealing appearance.”
“Moreover, it’s easier and more professional to host potential customers or partners at Agropolis. Previously, I would stress about finding a suitable location for meetings. Here, I can welcome visitors without any worries and focus more on the content of my company.”
